An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Procurement Department at an NHS organization in Sheffield for an Interim Digital Category Specialist.

The purpose of the position is to primarily cover 3 pieces of bespoke work including:

  • Hardware procurement for a new Data Centre
  • Hardware/software procurement for a new contact centre
  • Complete procurement to new Patient Admin System (PAS)

Sourcing and framework knowledge is essential as well as the ability to run mini competitions.

Technical knowledge around IT and hardware is also a very important aspect of the role as the successful candidate will be dealing directly with developers.

The successful candidate will also have strong, public sector experience and proven savings target delivery.
